Fuels: further drop in pump prices in Haiti

The Government of Haiti has announced a further reduction in fuel prices, applicable throughout the country. Gasoline gallons increased from 700 to 650 gourdes, diesel from 790 to 700 gourdes and kerosene from 785 to 690 gourdes.

The authorities state that this decision, taken on the recommendation of the Advisory Council on 3 July 2026, forms part of the mechanism for readjustment of oil prices in the light of market developments.

This decrease is expected to reduce consumer and carrier spending. Users now expect it to result in a reduction in public transport tariffs and, eventually, a slowdown in the rise in the prices of goods and services.
