More than 120 UEP executives trained to strengthen the performance of public administration in Haiti

On Friday, 24 July 2026, more than 120 managers of the Study and Programming Units (UEP) completed special training on public policy performance. The closing ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation (MPCE), through the Technical Centre for Planning and Applied Economy (CTPEA), took place in the presence of the Prime Minister's Director of Cabinet, representing the Head of Government.

In a message from Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, the Government welcomed this initiative to strengthen the capacities of UEPs, which play an important role in the design, implementation and evaluation of public policies. Trained managers are called upon to put their new skills at the service of more efficient, transparent and results-oriented administration.

The Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, Dr. Sandra Paulémon, stressed the importance of strategic planning, evaluation and results-based management. The Government intends to continue strengthening the capacity of public administration and national planning mechanisms, including through the development of a plan for economic, social and territorial stabilization and recovery.
