Kenscoff: two Natcom technicians killed in a hangout at Morne Tranchant

Kenscoff, February 22, 2026.- Two employees of the mobile phone company Natcom were killed and a third injured, Saturday, February 21, 2026, in Kenscoff, during an armed attack on Morne Tranchant. Their vehicle, which was targeted as they went to power a site in Teleco, was burned by Molotov cocktails.

Two Natcom technicians lost their lives in an ambush by armed individuals at the Morne Tranchant in Kenscoff Heights. A third employee was seriously injured during the attack.

According to Mayor Massillon Jean, who spoke on 22 February on Magik9, the victims went to the municipality to provide power to a telecommunications site in Teleco. Their vehicle fell into a hangout before being targeted by Molotov cocktails, causing a fire.

The mayor urged the police to strengthen security in Morne Tranchant, an area where several armed attacks have already been reported in recent months.
