The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Albert R. Ramdin, strongly condemned on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, the brutal attack by criminal gangs in Kenscoff.
In a statement published on his account X, he expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and his support to the affected communities and to the local authorities.
Describing the devastating human and psychological cost of violence in Haiti, Mr. Ramdin called for accelerating security action. He urged Member States and international partners to honour their commitments to the Gang Repression Force and to move from promises to deeds.
