Victorious victory of Haiti against New Zealand a few days from the World

The Haitian selection signed a convincing performance by largely dominating New Zealand (4-0), this Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at the Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, United States, as part of its preparation for the 2026 World Cup. The Grenadiers quickly gained the advantage thanks to Ruben Providence, who opened the score in the 12th minute, before confirming their superiority in the second period.

After a first controlled half, the men of Sébastien Migné increased their domination when the changing rooms returned. Lenny Joseph doubled the lead in the 51st minute, before Frantzdy Pierrot did the third goal eleven minutes later. Duke Lacroix then finished the Haitian success by finding the path of nets at the 87th minute, sealing a victory without appeal against the All Whites.

This success enabled Haiti to return to victory after its previous friendly outings against Tunisia (defeat 1-0) and Iceland (match 1-1). A few days away from a final test against Peru, the national selection showed encouraging signs before its entry into the 2026 World Cup, where it will have to face Scotland, Brazil and Morocco.
