National Thanksgiving for Haiti scheduled for May 10 in Delmas

Pastor Jean Baptiste Jean-Claude

Port-au-Prince, April 30, 2026.- Pastor Jean Baptiste Jean-Claude announced, this April 30, on Magik 9, the organization of a major Thanksgiving activity for Haiti, scheduled on May 10 at the Municipal Palace of Delmas. This initiative aims to mobilize faith, youth and society around a message of hope and national transformation.

In his speech, Pastor Jean Baptiste Jean-Claude explained that this approach is part of a dynamic of prayer and intercession initiated since 1994 for Haiti. According to him, several religious and community structures are mobilized through the country's ten departments, with sustained work with young people, women and children.

The initiative aims to bring together different components of society around a moment of recognition, faith and national solidarity. The pastor emphasized the importance of spiritual perseverance, using Bible references such as Israel and Abraham to illustrate the need to keep hope in spite of difficulties.

Scheduled from 2pm to 6pm at the Municipal Palace of Delmas, the activity is intended as an open gathering space, with moments of prayer, testimonies and collective commitment for the future of the country. The organizers call on the population, especially in the Delmas and surrounding areas, to participate massively.

Through this act of grace, the initiators hope to breathe a new dynamic of faith and unity into a national context marked by persistent challenges.
