On 28 and 29 May 2026, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Religious Affairs (MAEC) organizes a National Conference of Religious Leaders for Peace, Stability and Civicism at the Royal Oasis Hotel in Petion City. The event is held under the patronage of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé.
Through this initiative, the authorities intend to bring together the country's main religious denominations around a dialogue focused on social cohesion, the promotion of civics and the strengthening of peace in a national context marked by multiple security and social challenges.
The MAEC stresses that this meeting is intended as a forum for exchange and consultation aimed at encouraging the involvement of religious leaders in the stabilization efforts of the country and in the promotion of citizen values within Haitian society.
