Real Madrid has begun negotiations this week with RB Leipzig for the transfer of the Ivorian mill Yan Diomandé. According to the German daily BILD, the Madrid club made a first offer for the 19-year-old attacker. Contacts have also been established between the two clubs, while discussions continue with the player's entourage.
Real Madrid, however, faces strong competition on this issue. The Paris Saint-Germain and Liverpool also closely monitor the situation of the young player, whose value is estimated at over 100 million euros. Leipzig, which considers Diomandé one of its great talents, would be determined to obtain a substantial transfer allowance.
In parallel with the discussions between the two clubs, Real Madrid also started discussions with the player's entourage. For the time being, no definitive agreement has been reached, but the Spanish club seems to want to speed up negotiations in order to get ahead of its competitors. The Yan Diomandé dossier could thus become one of the major serials of the summer mercato.
