Port-au-Prince, July 5, 2026.- The Ministry of Defence announced the selection of 665 new recruits, including 98 women, to join the Armed Forces of Haiti. As these future soldiers prepare to begin their military training, a new recruitment phase will soon be launched with the convening of an additional 2,000 candidates.

The Ministry of Defence continues to strengthen the Armed Forces of Haiti. In a statement issued this Sunday, July 5, 2026, he announced the end of the selection process for a new promotion consisting of 665 recruits, including 98 women, who had completed the required medical, physical, psychotechnical and administrative assessments.

These recruits will soon begin their military training, an essential step before they are integrated into the Fad的H. According to the Ministry, this initiative is part of the government's desire to provide the country with a modern, professional, disciplined and capable of responding to security challenges.

The authorities have also announced that a new recruitment phase will be launched as soon as this promotion is integrated. To this end, 2,000 new candidates will soon be invited to take part in the various selection tests provided for in the current procedures.

The Ministry states that this new campaign will concern candidates enrolled in the main recruitment centres across the country. The objective is to ensure a balanced representation of the different regions and to ensure a process based on transparency, inclusion and equal opportunities.
