On Thursday, 2 April 2026, the US courts opened a repatriation procedure against Pierre Reginald Boulos, arrested on 17 July 2025 by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Born in New York, he was said to have renounced his American citizenship in 1999, which weakens his situation.
The authorities accuse the Haitian entrepreneur Pierre Réginald Boulos, having concealed information in his migration file and being involved in acts of violence and destabilization in Haiti.
The lawyer Frandley Julien announced, in a video published this Friday, April 3, 2026, that the judge in charge of the case issued an order of repatriation against him, after the abandonment by both parties of the habeas corpus action previously initiated.
According to Master Julien, this development is favourable to Boulos, considering that the habeas corpus procedure had little chance of success and that the order of deportation allows to solve his current legal situation.
Nearly nine months after his arrest, Pierre Reginald Boulos will no longer be able to trample on American soil following the charges against him.
