FNE strengthens support for families with the second batch of school grants for the school year 2025-2026

Port-au-Prince, February 14, 2026.- The National Education Fund (NEF) distributed, on Saturday, February 14, a second batch of 252 cheques to the beneficiary parents, as part of the programme of support for the school year 2025-2026. This new wave is part of the FNE's strategy to support families in financing their children's education, ensuring equitable access to education and reducing the financial burden of school-going.

The cheques issued are drawn up exclusively by the schools, ensuring that the funds are used strictly for educational expenses. This approach enhances transparency and traceability, two principles that the NSF puts forward to avoid misuse of subsidies.

Distribution will continue in the coming days, allowing more families to benefit from assistance. The NSF reaffirms its priority: effective and accountable management of public funds for parents and their children.

With this second batch, the NEF demonstrates its commitment to maintaining a regular and transparent school support program, contributing to a better prepared school start and accessible to all children.
