Ambassador of Argentina to Haiti, Pablo Graziano
Port-au-Prince, July 17, 2026.- In an intervention on the show Panel Magik this Friday, July 17, the Ambassador of Argentina to Haiti, Pablo Graziano, took advantage of the eve of the World Cup final to highlight the prospects of cooperation between the two countries. Diplomacy, trade, agriculture, sport and culture are among the main areas he intends to develop in order to consolidate bilateral relations.
On the eve of the World Cup final, Argentina's Ambassador to Haiti, Pablo Graziano, reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening relations between the two countries. Guest on the Magik panel on Magik 9, the diplomat presented the priorities of his mandate, focusing on economic, cultural and sports cooperation.
In Haiti for three months, Pablo Graziano stressed that relations between Port-au-Prince and Buenos Aires are based on a long tradition of friendship. He now wished to give new impetus to trade, which he considered to be still limited.
The diplomat identifies the agricultural sector as one of the main levers for cooperation. He believes that Haitian products, including coffee, cocoa and rum, have great potential on the Argentine market. Conversely, it wants to encourage the export to Haiti of agricultural products, agricultural machinery, pharmaceuticals and other goods manufactured in Argentina.
Pablo Graziano also announced his intention to work towards the creation of a Haitian-Argentine Chamber of Commerce in order to bring companies together in both countries and encourage private investment.
Referring to the situation in Haiti, the Ambassador acknowledged the challenges of insecurity, while believing that the country's image is often reduced to this reality by the international media. According to him, Haiti retains an important economic and human potential that deserves to be further developed.
Sport is another area of cooperation. The ambassador wishes to develop exchanges between the two countries in the field of sports training, notably with the Haitian Ministry of Youth and Sports. He also welcomed the convening of the young Haitian footballer Kiki Ramos with the selections of young people from Argentina, believing that his journey could help bring the two nations closer together.
A few hours from the final of the World Championship, Pablo Graziano used this rostrum to recall that football can be a vehicle for rapprochement, but also a starting point for strengthening cooperation between Argentina and Haiti in several strategic sectors.
