CHCC renews its leadership, Luckny Guerrier elected President

Montreal, August 7, 2026.- The Haitian Chamber of Commerce of Canada (HCCC) renewed its Board of Directors at the end of its annual general meeting held on July 26. Nine directors were elected in a poll supervised by Daniel Mednar, who was appointed independent electoral leader.

Meeting on Monday, 3 August, the new Council appointed Luckny Guerrier as Chair. She will be assisted by Sully Momprire in the vice-president, Andy Eustache in the secretariat and Isabelle Souffrant, CPA, in the treasury. Marie-Jennine Mayard completed the Executive Committee.

The council also includes Carlo Hector, Me Jean Ernst Pierre, Régine Coicou and Pierre-Paul Gazemar. CCHC's founding president, the latter left executive direction but remained a director in order to contribute to the further development of the organization. The House also praised the work of outgoing administrators Maryline Kennisant, Kerlie Joint, Vilson Zephirin and Godson Bonjean.

Born in Haiti, Luckny Guerrier is a resident of Saint-Léonard, Montreal. She has over 30 years of experience in social entrepreneurship. A passionate teacher, specialized in business management and administration, she works to empower marginalized people while defending the principles of sustainable development.

The new team intends to continue the mission of CCHC to represent and support Haitian entrepreneurs, professionals and businesses in Canada.
