2026 official exams: North-East integrates artificial intelligence to enhance reliability of results

On Monday, August 3, 2026, the Departmental Directorate for North-East Education (DDE-NE) announced the integration of artificial intelligence into the process of processing official 9th year exams. According to departmental officials, this technology will be used to support note control operations by facilitating detection of possible anomalies and data verification prior to validation of results.

This innovation is part of the modernization measures already implemented in the context of the 2026 session of the official reviews. Following the digitization of several steps in the process, including the correction of copies, the securing of scoring sheets and the reduction of manual interventions, the DDE-NE intends to consolidate a system of assessment more focused on transparency, reliability and respect for candidates' merit. Officials state that artificial intelligence acts as a tool to assist decision-making, while final decisions remain the responsibility of inspectors and technical teams.

Through this initiative, the Nord-Est Department of Education is pursuing its strategy to modernize educational governance. The institution believes that the use of digital technologies can help build confidence in the assessment process and reduce the risk of errors that could affect candidates' performance.
