Port-au-Prince, January 26, 2026.- The University of State of Haiti (UEH) officially launched, Friday, January 23, the Master in Analysis of Public Policies in the Field of Economy and Finance (MAPPEF), attached to the Faculty of Law and Economics (FDSE). A strategic partnership with the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF), this programme aims to develop frameworks capable of transforming public policies into concrete actions, responding to the urgent needs of the Haitian state.
The Rector of the UEH, Dieuseul Predelus, stressed the strategic nature of this initiative: « The Master in Public Policy Analysis is not just an academic program. This is our institutional response to a national emergency. » According to him, the training of specialized managers is essential to overcome the economic, political and security crises that weaken the country.
The Dean of FDSE, Master Jean Eugène Pierre-Louis, said that the MAPPEF will provide a pool of qualified professionals for national and international institutions. Structured over two years with 60 credits, 14 modules, two internships and a memory, the program combines face-to-face and distancial teaching, case studies, group work and role play, offering a modern and practice-oriented pedagogy.
Open to graduates from various disciplines and interested officials, the MAPPEF is positioned as a concrete response to Haitian structural challenges. The UEH uses this programme to measure its success not in terms of diplomas awarded but in effective public policies and sustainable social transformation.
