Yverick Delerme Cyril
According to journalist Luckson Saint-Vil, a team of the Consulate of Haiti in Miami has since attended, on Tuesday 21 April 2026, the trial related to the assassination of President Jovenel Moïse. This delegation is headed by the Consul General Yverick Delerme Cyril, accompanied by three members of the Legal Supervision Section of the diplomatic representation.
According to Luckson Saint-Vil, this team has the mission of producing legal reports after each hearing in order to transmit them to the Haitian government, in particular to the Ministry of Justice. Consul Cyril also indicated that steps will be taken at the Federal Court to obtain the official transcripts of the trial, in a context where several citizens had denounced the absence of the Haitian authorities in this crucial case.
