Port-au-Prince, March 5, 2026.- The Ministry of Women's Affairs and Women's Rights (MCFDF) has completed two days of workshops on the analysis of progress made in the implementation of the National Action Plan on Gender Equality (PANEFH), resulting from the Gender Equality Policy 2014-2034.
The work brought together representatives of several public institutions on issues related to women's rights, including economic equality, equitable access to opportunities and women's participation in decision-making bodies.
Representatives of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour (MAST), the General Inspectorate of Finance (IGF) and the Management and Human Resources Office (OMRH) took part in the panels and discussions, emphasizing the need to strengthen gender mainstreaming in public policies and administration.
In closing the work, Minister Pédrica Saint-Jean recalled that equality between women and men is an essential lever for the development and construction of a more just and inclusive society in Haiti.
