David Badía appointed Grenadier breeder

The Haitian Football Federation (FHF) has appointed Spanishman David Badía Cequier, 51 years old, as a new male national team player. He succeeded Sébastien Migné and took command of the Grenadiers as they approached their next international deadlines.

Badía, a former central defender, evolved in Spain and Austria before joining the FC Barcelona Academy, where he worked from 2012 to 2016 in youth training. He then worked as an assistant coach in Turkey and Spain, notably in Antalyaspor, Fenerbahçe and the UD Almería.

The Spanish technician has also run several clubs in Cyprus and Poland, including AEK Larnaca, Akritas Chlorakas and Lechia Gdańsk. He will now have the task of continuing the progress of the Haitian selection and preparing the Grenadiers for the next CONCACAF competitions.
