Port-au-Prince, le 22 septembre 2025.- La Fondation Lorquet pour une Nouvelle Haïti (FOLONHA) a pris part, le dimanche 14 septembre, au Banquet philosophique initié par le mouvement Combite 33 autour du thème : « Repenser Haïti « . En présence de personnalités de l’intelligentsia haïtienne, la fondation a partagé sa vision d’une société fondée sur le respect, la tolérance et l’engagement communautaire, essentielle à la construction d’une Haïti plus inclusive et solidaire.
During this meeting, several speakers including Archange Deshommes, Raoul Lorfils Junior, Dr. Francis Narcisse, Dr. Frantz Large, Pastor Ornis Armand, Dr. Roubytherson Castera and Dalida Jeune brought their reflection on the possible paths of change. All agree to recognize the responsibility of the elites in the current failure and the need for each of them to contribute actively to national refoundation.
Invité d’honneur, le Dr Joël Lorquet a présenté pendant plus de vingt minutes la vision de la FOLONHA pour une « nouvelle Haïti « . Il a insisté sur la valeur du « vivre ensemble « , soulignant que le respect, l’empathie, la civilité et la tolérance sont des piliers indispensables à la cohésion sociale. Selon lui, les élites doivent effectuer un examen de conscience et adopter une attitude proactive pour bâtir une société pacifique, productive et tournée vers un développement endogène.
